- It means they have been gloriously saved by grace through faith.
- They are admitting that getting sprinkled as a baby does not mean they were really baptized.
- They are not afraid of proclaiming their faith publicly, before the criticism and sometimes shunning of friends and family.
- They understand that Baptism is the initiation into the local body of believers.
