I apologize for the delay in getting this important news to you. I know how faithfully you pray for me personally and for us as a family.On July 25th I picked up from the lab the results for the biopsy.
Here are the results:  Noah likes borrowing my ties… Biopsy showed no signs of carcinoma. The biopsy speaks of hyperkeratosis, a slight acanthosis and chronic phlogosis. People in our church seemed to enjoy looking it up on Wikipedia, so I have linked them for you in case you are one of the curious people out there. Praise God! We are still hoping to understand the cause of the symptoms. Even if there was no carcinoma in the biopsy, I still live with frequent discomfort that makes my preaching, teaching and reading to Noah quite challenging at times. I thank God that Serenella, a recent convert from our church, has put me in contact with a friend of hers who is an ENT (Ear Throat Nose Specialist) for a free private consultation on Monday morning to help me get to the heart of the situation. According to my counter, the due date is 22 days away. Truthfully, the doctor expects her to be born even a week earlier…which makes it very soon! Thank you for your prayers! |
